About us
farbstudio is a small team of colorists, editors and engineers. Since 2020, we've taken features, documentaries, series and commercials through post-production, from data handling to final master. At the heart of it is almost always color: it's where a film finds its look, and that's where we take our time.

We've stayed small on purpose. Directors, DoPs and producers talk directly to the people working on their picture. Paths are short, and decisions get made in the room, not in email threads.

How we work
We fit around your project, not the other way round. Some productions hand us the entire post-production. Others bring their own team and use our rooms and tech. We take the same care with both.

The studio
At Alteburger Straße 7 we run two UHD/HDR grading suites with Sony reference monitors and DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panels, along with edit suites for Avid, Premiere and Resolve and everything needed for online, VFX and mastering. It all runs on shared storage, so material moves straight from the cut to color and on to delivery. For theatrical finishing, we move the project, our tech and our team into a DCI cinema. Anyone who can't be there joins via stream.
